Mother of Elon Musk’s ’13th child’ alleges financial struggles and faces eviction

Influencer Ashley St. Clair, who asserts that she is the mother of Elon Musk’s 13th child, recently revealed she’s facing eviction after a tumultuous year that she describes as an “unplanned career suicide.”

Earlier in the year, St. Clair attracted attention by claiming to have given birth to Musk’s child following an alleged meeting in the spring of 2023.

Reports from The Wall Street Journal detail that their relationship supposedly developed into a romance after Musk invited St. Clair to the San Francisco office of X (previously known as Twitter), and later, during a New Year’s trip to St. Barts, they purportedly conceived a son.

St. Clair further claims she was propositioned with money to keep her relationship with Musk under wraps but chose to disclose the news publicly in February 2025. In response, Musk took to X to clarify that he was now providing her with annual financial support.

In his post on X, shared on March 31, Musk stated: “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

Yet, St. Clair alleges that the financial support was reduced after her public revelation.

She commented: “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused. And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary … until you withdrew it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son …”

A few months later, St. Clair launched a new video on a YouTube channel titled ‘Bad Advice with Ashley St. Clair’, marking the beginning of a new series.

In the initial moments of the video, St. Clair remarked: “Well, after a year of unplanned career suicide, many questionable life choices, and a gap in my LinkedIn profile that cannot legally be explained, I’ve decided to start a podcast.”

She explained that her decision wasn’t due to a belief in her “big brain thoughts and [her] podcast mic” as gifts to the world. Rather, she candidly disclosed: “I’m getting evicted and Poly Market offered me $10,000 to do an ad read. So with that, the roof over my head has been brought to you by Poly Market.

“God bless Poly Market, the world’s largest prediction market, where you can place bets on who’s going to win the midterms, whether Trump will release the Epstein files, or how many posts Elon Musk is going to send in a day. So, thank you, Poly Market.”

St. Clair did not mention Musk concerning her financial difficulties, though reports indicate she is entangled in an ongoing custody dispute with Musk over their alleged child.

Efforts have been made to obtain a comment from Musk.
