Did you know that penis-shaped pasta exists? I surely didn’t.
Rebecca Brett, a mortified British mother-of-two, didn’t know they were a thing, either.
Apparently, her three-year-old daughter Ava begged for the ‘smiley-shaped’ pasta while the family was out doing groceries in their local supermarket.
Rebecca, who hails from Dunstable in Bedfordshire, didn’t notice her innocent boo-boo until she had already served the pasta to Ava and her seven-month-old little sister, Emilia.
The two girls were halfway through their lunch when the 24-year-old mom took another look at the bag and realized her tremendous mistake.
Talk about awkward! Of course, the kids were too young to know any better, so they carried on eating without a care in the world.
“I was mortified when I saw what I had done. It was a hectic morning and I just bought it without thinking,” Rebecca said. “When I saw Ava with the tiny penis in her hand, my heart sank, but I quickly burst into hysterical laughter at my blunder!”
