Matt Bellamy has gone public with a new relationship.
The Muse frontman, 47, posted a PDA-filled Instagram slideshow on Thursday that appeared to hard-launch his romance with AnneMarie Morin, founder of Chicago-based cookie company Cloud Cookie. The timing drew immediate fan scrutiny: Bellamy had filed for divorce from estranged wife Elle Evans just two months earlier, on Aug. 12.
“new part time job, boss is a tough cookie,” Bellamy captioned the post, which showed him working at Cloud Cookie — placing cookies in an oven, serving customers, and eating a treat himself.

One image in particular captured attention. The “Supermassive Black Hole” singer is seen passionately kissing Morin, 33, as she takes a selfie while he places his hand on her midriff.

Fans flooded the comments with reactions to the speed of the new romance. “Oh damn that was quick,” one wrote. Another added, “holy s–t Matt works fast.”
Others joked about the workplace setting of the kiss. “Someone call HR ❤️,” one commenter wrote. Another chimed in with, “Behave yourself 😂.”

The relationship had been building publicly for months. Morin shared a photo to Instagram on Oct. 13 from England — Bellamy’s home country — that appeared to soft-launch the romance. The image showed her legs draped across the lap of a man whose face was not visible, with the unidentified man’s hand resting on her upper thigh. Morin did not tag Bellamy, though he “liked” the post.
Earlier clues included an Aug. 17 post Morin shared from the Moab Desert with a group of friends, where Bellamy was tagged. She also posted a photo from Muse’s Aug. 31 concert at the Hollywood Bowl, shared on Sept. 11.

Bellamy’s divorce filing from Evans, whom he married in 2019, cited “irreconcilable differences” and sought sole custody of their two children: daughter Lovella, 6, and son George, 2. Evans said at the time that she planned to fight for custody and called the divorce “a long time coming” after an “unbearable” marriage.

Despite the rapid public debut with Morin, Bellamy and Evans had actually separated in mid-2025, well before the August filing. The Grammy winner also shares son Bingham, 15, with ex-fiancée Kate Hudson, whom he dated from 2010 to 2014.

Morin founded Cloud Cookie in 2020 and has built the Chicago business into a visible brand. Her social media presence has increasingly intersected with Bellamy’s world in recent months, from desert trips to concert appearances to now — a cookie shop kiss seen by millions.
The musician has not addressed fan reactions directly, letting the Instagram post and its comments section speak for itself as his personal life moves into public view once again.
Muse is scheduled to perform in São Paulo, Brazil.
