NATO nation delivers grave ‘apocalyptic’ warning about Trump’s Greenland threat as military arrives

A grave warning has been issued to the White House regarding a pivotal military alliance’s potential downfall, leading to the ‘end of the world,’ if President Trump persists in his threats to annex Greenland.

This dire warning emerges as European allies of the United States have started deploying small troop contingents to Greenland, the world’s largest island, which belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark.

The UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands have all dispatched small military units to this mineral-rich landmass as part of a ‘reconnaissance’ mission, in response to Trump’s repeated threats to annex the territory.

Vice President JD Vance had a chance to ease tensions on Wednesday (January 14) during his meeting with ministers from Denmark and Greenland, who asserted that it was ‘absolutely unnecessary’ for the US to annex the territory.

Following the meeting, Trump remarked that “there’s not a thing” they could do to halt his plans.

President Trump has persistently expressed his desire to acquire the ice-covered island since bringing up the idea in his first term, citing ‘national security’ as the justification for his aggressive stance.

In a separate statement, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated that the presence of European armies on Greenland would not alter Trump’s intentions. “Nor does it impact his goal of the acquisition of Greenland at all,” she added.

However, these increasingly aggressive statements have not been well-received by EU allies.

Donald Tusk, the former President of the European Council and current Prime Minister of Poland, sharply criticized the attempt to encroach upon the borders of a fellow member of the alliance.

Tusk cautioned in a press conference, “An attempt to take over (part of) a NATO member state by another NATO member state would be a political disaster.

“It would be the end of the world as we know it, which guaranteed a world based on NATO solidarity, which held back the evil forces associated with communist terror or other forms of aggression.”

Trump’s assertiveness in proclaiming US superiority has surged since the successful capture of President Nicolas Maduro on January 3.

He explained his intentions to reporters, stating, “The problem is there’s not a thing that Denmark can do about it if Russia or China wants to occupy Greenland, but there’s everything we can do. You found that out last week with Venezuela.”

With this apocalyptic warning, it is evident that Europe is not passively accepting the threat. Greenland announced on Thursday that several allies would be engaging in ‘training’ exercises on the island in the near future.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Greenland, Mute Egede, confirmed: “Soldiers of NATO are expected to be more present in Greenland from today and in the coming days. It is expected that there will be more military flights and ships.”

Denmark also confirmed this week its plans to establish a more enduring military presence on the island, aiming to deter Russia, China, and even its NATO ally, the United States.
