Netflix series with ‘steamy scenes’ dominates most-watched lists, binged for 56.9 million hours

A provocative new series on Netflix has captivated audiences to the point where they’re staying up all night to binge-watch it.

This 18-episode series has drawn viewers in not just for its explicit love scenes but also for its engaging storyline filled with unexpected twists and turns.

Since its release on July 30, the show has quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s global TV rankings, amassing 56.9 million hours viewed, as reported by FlixPatrol.

The narrative focuses on Helena Rivas (played by Zuria Vega), who is trapped in a controlling and abusive marriage with Claudio Martínez (portrayed by Erik Hayser), a wealthy businessman. Desperate to escape, she embarks on a passionate and secretive affair with Iván Díaz (played by Andrés Baida from “Who Killed Sara?”), a younger escort.

Their affair turns treacherous as they attempt to blackmail Claudio with a sex tape to free Helena from her unhappy marriage.

The situation soon spirals out of control, revealing to Helena that there’s far more to her husband than she ever imagined.

The show that’s climbing the Netflix charts is titled “Unspeakable Sins.” While some fans describe it as ‘top tier,’ it has received a modest IMDB score of 5.8.

“I was hooked watching it all day and all night,” one fan noted. “I recommend it for people who love suspense. The next thing you know you’re not sleeping in the name of watching the show.”

Another viewer added: “Lots of unexpected twists and turns. Some very tense moments. Strong characters each with their own story and motives so it’s definitely not predictable.” A social media user described it as ‘gripping,’ noting that the show delivers ‘exactly what it promises.’

The show is also known for its lengthy and sometimes misplaced sex scenes.

Decider advises streaming it if you’re into the ‘sexy stuff,’ stating: “This is the kind of show that you watch if you want to see lots of hot sex scenes, usually cued up with what the subtitles always call ‘sultry music,’ and see if the good guys… win.”

However, for some viewers, these scenes were a bit much.

One person felt they were ‘poorly placed,’ while another criticized it as ‘another soft-porn TV series where the story and message get lost within the over-exposed sex scenes’.

Others took it all in stride. “Yeah, the shirtless men and sex scenes are a lot for some people, but I found it fun and entertaining,” an individual remarked.

All 18 episodes of “Unspeakable Sins” are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
