Netflix viewers have been deeply moved by a thriller described as ‘close to perfect,’ yet it seems to have slipped under the radar for many fans.
The festive period is not only ideal for indulging in delicious food and drinks but also a great time to gather with family and explore a new series or movie together.
Sure, there are timeless classics to enjoy repeatedly, but discovering something fresh and captivating brings its own joy, doesn’t it?
Currently, the third season of “Maestro in Blue” on Netflix is creating buzz on social media, with one fan proclaiming it to be ‘as close to perfection as a TV show can get’.
That’s high praise, but what exactly is “Maestro in Blue” about?
The series centers on troubled musician Orestis, portrayed by Christoforos Papakaliatis, who is dedicated to reviving a local music festival on the Greek island of Paxos.
However, the revival of the festival becomes the least of Orestis’ concerns when he and his partner Klelia, played by Klelia Andriolatou, become entangled in a gruesome murder.
Though the third season of “Maestro in Blue” lacks enough reviews for a Rotten Tomatoes score, critics who have seen the series have been positive in their assessments.
Moreover, the first season boasts an impressive 91% audience score.
“The chemistry between the leads and the spectacular Mediterranean scenery will keep your eyes on Maestro In Blue, even if there are a few storytelling inconsistencies,” Joe Keller from Decider noted.
Discussing the second season, Keller remarked: “Maestro In Blue has now become a full-blown soap… It’s got a lot of juicy drama, but we’re not sure if it can sustain being so scattered in scope.”
Meanwhile, Archi Sengupta from LeisureByte.com shared thoughts on season three: “Maestro in Blue season 3 is fantastic because of its believable performances, haunting score and a stunning Paxos that never fails to impress.”
Among the series’ admirers is Morgan Freeman, who took to Instagram to recommend “Maestro in Blue” to his followers.
“If you haven’t had the pleasure of watching Maestro in Blue, you’re truly missing something special. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Paxos—a small Greek island that’s close to my heart—this series is a masterpiece,” Freeman expressed.
“Mark your calendars, my friends. The third and final season arrives on @Netflix, December 28. Don’t miss it.”
As Freeman suggested, you can now watch the third season of “Maestro in Blue” as well as the first two series on Netflix.
