Nick Jonas has addressed the widespread speculation that his brother was caught on camera using cocaine during a concert.
Nick appeared as a guest on the Zach Sang Show podcast, where discussions eventually turned to the viral footage from a Jonas Brothers concert.
The concert video has garnered around 11 million views on TikTok. In it, Joe Jonas is seen touching his nose and using a towel, then seemingly looking in a mirror before joining his siblings onstage.
This occurred at a California show during the band’s JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour. While some viewers speculated about drug use, others thought he simply appeared to be blowing his nose.
Following the viral video’s spread, Joe Jonas debunked the allegations of cocaine use in an interview with Esquire, stating: “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life, but if I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.”

Nick Jonas has since commented on the situation, echoing his brother’s denial of any drug use.
When asked by the hosts of the Zach Sang Show if he had seen the viral video that led to these rumors, Nick replied: “I did see that.”
He restated the denial of any drug involvement, saying: “Yeah, people are funny, they have imagination.”
He further commented: “Imagine how f***ing wild that would be if he was doing that.”
Nick discussed the stereotype of musicians living lives steeped in drugs and partying, following the old notion of ‘sex and drugs and rock and roll,’ which has been a persistent idea over the years.

However, Nick emphasized that this stereotype isn’t applicable to them anymore.
He stated: “I think that, you know, people think that’s what rock stars do, we don’t do that. That’s not a thing that happens, especially not onstage.”
While hard drugs are off-limits, Nick did share a more acceptable indulgence he enjoys on special occasions, albeit less frequently since becoming a father.
“I love a cigar from time to time,” he admitted. “I’ve stopped having as many because I don’t want to smell like a cigar around my kid all the time, that’s not really the best move.”
Despite cutting back, he still enjoys the occasional cigar when celebrating with friends, adding: “A great cigar after like a thing that you’re celebrating with friends is such a nice thing.”
