Nicki Minaj and Donald Trump attended a summit together, with Minaj declaring her admiration for the former president and receiving a $1 million Gold Card at no cost.
On January 28, the Trump Accounts Summit was held, and among the attendees was rapper Nicki Minaj, who professed her support for Donald Trump, calling herself his ‘number one fan’.
Trump and Minaj appeared together on stage, holding hands, and the event took an unexpected turn from there.
The former president defended Minaj against critics who have targeted her for supporting him.
Minaj, taking her fandom to new heights, stated that her support for Trump is unwavering, saying she’s ‘probably the president’s number one fan’.
She added: “The hate — or what people have to say — it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”
The inclusion of a Gold Card makes the situation even more intriguing. But what exactly does a Trump Gold Card entail, and what does it mean for Minaj?

Following the event, Minaj took to Twitter to flaunt her Trump Gold Card, captioning her post with ‘Welp’.
According to the official website, a Trump Gold Card is ‘a visa based upon an individual’s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States’.
Forbes notes that the card may also provide a fast track to US citizenship.
Minaj previously shared on TikTok in 2024 that she wasn’t ‘a citizen of America’, having emigrated from Trinidad and Tobago as a child, as reported by IHeart.
Despite her former status as ‘an illegal immigrant’ and her past opposition to Trump’s policies, Minaj seems to have had a change of heart, claiming she received the card ‘free of charge’.
Minaj later commented: “Residency? Residency? The cope is coping. Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition. I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment. Gold Trump card free of charge.”

The White House retweeted her post, adding: “Oh she’s super BASED.”
Typically, applicants must pay a $15,000 processing fee to the DHS, plus a $1 million gift as proof that they will substantially benefit the United States. However, Minaj claims she received her card without charge.
Being Trump’s ‘number one fan’ clearly has its perks. Perhaps Trump’s fondness for her nails played a role as well.

On stage, Trump complimented Minaj’s nails, saying: “I said, I am going to let my nails grow, because I love these nails.”
Later, the pair filmed a TikTok video together, leaving many to wonder what is happening.
Minaj didn’t stop there; she issued a warning to Trump’s adversaries as well.
She reminded them of the ‘force behind’ Trump, asserting that their efforts to bully or smear him won’t succeed.
Minaj also claimed that ‘God is protecting’ the former president.
