On January 28, the Trump Accounts Summit was held, and among the notable attendees was Nicki Minaj, who showed her support for Trump.
The two made an appearance on stage, with the president holding Minaj’s hand, adding an unexpected twist to the event.
During the summit, Trump defended Minaj, who has faced criticism for her support of him.
Minaj stood firm in her support, stating that she’s likely Trump’s biggest fan, despite any backlash.
She elaborated: “The hate — or what people have to say — it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”
The Trump Gold Card is an intriguing addition to their relationship. But what exactly does it entail?
Following the event, Minaj posted on Twitter with a picture of the Trump Gold Card, captioned ‘Welp’.
According to the official website, a Trump Gold Card is “a visa based upon an individual’s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States.”
The card is also reported to offer a fast-track to US citizenship, as noted by Forbes.
Minaj previously mentioned on TikTok in 2024 that she was not “a citizen of America” after moving to the US from Trinidad and Tobago as a child, as quoted by IHeart.
Though she was once “an illegal immigrant” and had criticized Trump’s policies, Minaj now claims to have received the card “free of charge.”
Minaj further stated: “Residency? Residency? The cope is coping. Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition. I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment. Gold Trump card free of charge.”

The White House retweeted her post, commenting: “Oh she’s super BASED.”
Typically, applicants must pay a processing fee of $15,000 DHS and a $1 million gift as proof that they will significantly benefit the United States. However, Minaj asserts she received hers without any cost.
It seems being Trump’s “number one fan” has its advantages, or perhaps Trump’s admiration for her nails played a part as well.
While on stage, Trump complimented Minaj’s nails, saying: “I said, I am going to let my nails grow, because I love these nails.”
The duo even filmed a TikTok video together, adding another layer of surprise to the event.
Minaj did not hold back in issuing a warning to Trump’s adversaries.
She reminded them of the “force behind” Trump, stating: “[You won’t] get away with bullying him and you know, the smear campaigns. It’s not going to work.”
Minaj also mentioned that “God is protecting” the former president.
