Nicola Peltz erases Beckham family presence on social media amid Brooklyn’s request for legal-only contact with David and Victoria

Actor Nicola Peltz appears to have made another critical move amid ongoing tensions with the Beckham family.

Peltz, who is married to Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria, has reportedly handed them a ‘cease and desist’ notice, requesting that all communications be conducted through legal representatives.

Brooklyn has allegedly blocked his parents along with siblings Cruz, Romeo, and Harper on social media. The youngest Beckham son has mentioned that the family discovered they had been blocked by Brooklyn online.

In response to rumors suggesting the Beckhams had ‘unfollowed’ Brooklyn, Cruz denied these claims.

“NOT TRUE,” he stated last month. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”

This recent action by Nicola coincides with the apparent deterioration of Brooklyn’s relationship with his family.

Nicola has seemingly distanced herself by removing all content related to the Beckhams from her social media platforms.

The Sun reports that this involved deleting any photos and posts featuring the Beckham family, including a birthday message from her mother-in-law, Victoria.

During Christmas, David shared an old photo of himself with a young Brooklyn, captioned: “I love you all so much.”

Yet, Brooklyn did not respond publicly to the post.

Additionally, Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2025, despite being in London at the time.

There are also claims that Brooklyn has instructed his family not to contact him except through his legal team.

The letter, reportedly sent in 2025, specified these contact terms.

A source familiar with the family stated that this move was in reaction to Brooklyn’s parents primarily reaching out on social media.

They told The Sun: “The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly.

“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”

The root cause of this family rift remains a matter of much speculation.

Representatives for David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, and Nicola Peltz have been contacted for comment.
