Nicola Peltz Beckham neatly sidestepped a question about husband Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s reported rift with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.
Tension between Brooklyn and the wider Beckham family has remained a major talking point through 2025 and has continued into 2026.
The situation drew even more attention after Brooklyn posted on social media, accusing his family of mistreating his wife, Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham, who he married in 2022.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”

After that, Brooklyn’s brother Cruz issued his own response, and Nicola’s father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, also addressed the headlines.
Nicola, however, has largely avoided making direct public comments, and that approach continued during her latest press appearance.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about her role in the final episode of Ryan Murphy’s the Beauty, she was asked about the attention on her personal life.
“There’s been a lot of public interest in your real life and relationship with husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family. How have you navigated that attention?”
Rather than engage with the family topic, Nicola moved the conversation to her work, explaining she had been focused on post-production for her new film, Prima, over the past few weeks.
“So honestly, I’ve been in the editing room. We haven’t had weekends. We’ve just been trying to make a deadline.”
She added that throwing herself into the project has been a welcome outlet, saying it’s allowed her to stay creative while pushing toward completion.
“It’s been really fun doing that, and I’m really excited for it to come out.”

Her father took a similar approach when asked about the dispute at WSJD’s Invest Live event in West Palm Beach on February 3, choosing to keep the focus away from the public narrative.
“My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that’s not for coverage here today. But I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
Those remarks followed Brooklyn’s earlier post, where he also described an alleged incident during his wedding celebrations.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
