Noah Kahan Begs Fans to Stop After Concertgoer Poops on Floor in Viral Aftermath Video

Noah Kahan has spoken out after a video from one of his recent concerts spread online, not because of the performance itself, but بسبب an especially unpleasant crowd incident.

The “Stick Season” singer performed at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on Friday, June 26, 2026, as the second stop on his The Great Divide Tour, with Gigi Perez also on the bill.

However, much of the online reaction that followed had little to do with the music. A clip began making the rounds on social media that appeared to show the aftermath of an audience member allegedly having a bathroom accident close to the front of the crowd.

The moment has also reignited discussion about concertgoers wearing nappies or diapers in order to avoid leaving their spot near the barrier, a behaviour that a number of artists have started calling out.

Kahan addressed the incident on X on Saturday, June 28, saying he would much rather fans step away briefly than stay put and create a situation like this.

“If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao,” he wrote.

He also highlighted the people left to deal with the aftermath at the venue.

“I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29 year old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1000 yard stare after dealing with that.”

Kahan later approached the topic with his usual dry humour, tying it into another awkward fan-related moment from earlier on the tour.

In the same online exchange, he joked about a different gross-out concert memory, adding, “I s–t myself onstage in Charlottesville but that’s because I am dedicated to my craft.”

It was the second time in just a matter of days that he had been forced to comment on concert behaviour. Earlier, he had asked fans to stop taking a road sign mentioned in his 2022 song “The View Between Villages,” explaining that the thefts were causing real issues for people who live in the area.

The issue Kahan was responding to has become more visible in recent weeks, with reports suggesting some fans are intentionally wearing nappies so they can remain at the very front for an entire set without taking a toilet break.

Olivia Rodrigo also recently spoke about noticing the same thing while performing.

“I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show, and that’s been an experience as a performer that I have… smelled,” Rodrigo said, speaking to presenters Chloe Burrows and Tyler West on KISS Radio.

She went on to compare it to another public event where attendees plan for long waits in the same way.

“Everyone is wearing diapers… they sit there all day. I think about it kind of often… it’s a real thing.”

As the footage and Kahan’s response circulated, many people online reacted with disbelief that the trend had become common enough for major artists to address it publicly.
