Millie Bobby Brown quickly told her co-star to stop talking as he seemed to reveal the ending of Stranger Things 5.
After a wait that seemed to stretch forever, the residents of Hawkins, portrayed by a talented cast including Winona Ryder, have returned to Netflix for the conclusion of the thrilling sci-fi horror series.
The first segment of Stranger Things season 5 was released on the platform in late November, with the final three episodes of its eight-episode run, comprising volume two, set to debut on Christmas Day and continue until New Year’s Eve.
Following the events of the fourth season, it is now the fall of 1987, and the group is on a mission to find and eliminate Vecna, the sinister telepathic entity from the Upside Down that has been tormenting the town from the beginning of the series.
Additionally, Eleven, portrayed by Brown, is once again at the center of the battle, but she is also being pursued by the military due to her psychokinetic and telepathic powers.
As the season progresses towards its conclusion, fans are expecting a significant plot twist.
Further stirring the pot is Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in the series, and recently seemed to spoil the ending during an interview with TV Guide.
When queried about who he believes is the most misunderstood character in the show, Schnapp responded: “Lowkey Vecna.”
“Really?” Brown replied, before promptly cutting off his answer.
“No! Shut up. That’s it. No, be quiet,” the 21-year-old stated before Schnapp could reveal more. “Carry on,” she added to interviewer Kat Moon.
Moon then delved deeper into the question, asking how misunderstood they think Vecna is by the end of season 4, prompting Brown to reach across to Schnapp and hold his hand as they laughed together.
“Based on season 4?” Brown queried. “You know, let’s just not even because today has been a day.
“Okay. It’s been a day and we want to do so much for you but we’re not smart enough to dance around these questions.”
Laughing with Schnapp, she went on: “We’re just not. We wish we were, but we’re not.”
“No energy left,” Schnapp added, suggesting they were possibly venturing into risky territory.
Their suspicious reaction to the question has led fans to concoct various conspiracy theories about the ending.

Additionally, the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have reportedly likened Vecna to Darth Vader, hinting at a possible Star Wars-inspired twist.
“Oh my god, does this mean Vecna is Will’s real dad?” one shocked viewer speculated on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Lol, Noah Schnapp getting shut down by Millie Bobby Brown is everything! Can’t wait to see Vecna’s story unfold, especially with that Darth Vader comparison. Bring on the redemption arc,” another fan remarked.
“With so many people speculating that Henry Creel/Vecna somehow fathered Will with Joyce Byers and that Will might be the one to defeat Vecna, it does feel reminiscent of Luke Skywalker discovering Darth Vader is his father,” another added.
All will be unveiled on December 31 when the final episode premieres on Netflix.
The entire series, from the first season to the initial volume of season 5, is currently available for streaming.
