North West, 12, reveals new appearance with facial piercings following Kim Kardashian’s comments on her ‘tattoos’

North West, aged 12, has seemingly unveiled a new facial piercing located on the bridge of her nose.

Being the firstborn of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North appears to be following in her parents’ footsteps in the fashion world, showcasing some bold styles lately—though not everyone has embraced these choices.

Recently, North flaunted diamond-studded, shark-like grills on social media, with some estimating their value could reach up to $50,000.

In November, North appeared online sporting face tattoos, which were evidently temporary, as California law requires one to be at least 18 to get a tattoo.

However, North’s piercing on her finger did not seem to be a faux. Although many voiced their concerns regarding the dermal piercing, a comment from the Kim and North TikTok page reassured followers by stating, ‘it’s okay’.

North now seems to have introduced a facial piercing on her nose bridge. Accompanying her new look are black teeth (likely another grill set) and vibrant blue bangs.

Some viewers commented ‘Kanye was right’ on the clip, alluding to the rapper’s past remarks about his daughter’s presence on social media.

According to a source speaking to Radar Online in early December, Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, is reportedly attempting to mediate between the ‘MONSTER’ artist and his eldest child.

“Bianca’s been closely monitoring the situation as she cares for North and wants to support her,” the insider claimed. “She’s comforting Kanye that there’s no cause for alarm, the face tattoos are temporary, and this is merely a young girl’s form of self-expression.”

Kanye reportedly fears that North might be ‘acting up’.

While North’s finger tattoo was genuine, it’s plausible that the bridge piercing is not. Stick-on dermal piercings can be easily found online.

There is speculation that North has since taken out the finger piercing due to the criticism it received.

A doctor provided insight into the risks associated with body modifications, describing them as ‘risky’.

Dr. Donald Grant, a GP and Senior Clinical Advisor at The Independent Pharmacy, stated: “Dermal piercings, especially on the finger, involve risks that are often underestimated or misattributed to more common issues.”

He elaborated that symptoms like the ‘early signs of irritation or rejection’ might be mistaken for ‘minor issues such as dry skin, a delay in healing, or a small bump to the area’.

“These signs could also be confused with an allergic reaction to jewelry, excessive use of hands, or mild contact dermatitis,” Dr. Grant further cautioned.
