We lost our minds over the white and gold (or black and blue) dress, and now a new color challenge is dividing the Internet.
To test color perception, Optical Express asked 1,000 respondents whether the color below is blue or green (or something else entirely).
What do you see?
“Every single person is unique,” says Stephen Hanna of Optical Express, “Depending on how you interpret colors, one person might see it one way, while the next person might see it differently.”
64% of people said the image was green, while 32% saw blue. And then a bunch of other people said teal, aqua, and all sorts of other fancy names.
But when placed beside two shades of blue, 90% of respondents agreed the color is (drum roll please)… green.
And they were right, as the color model is in fact 0 red, 122 green and 116 blue, meaning that technically the shade is green (but only just).
