Observers have noticed an ’embarrassing’ detail during a cabinet meeting of Donald Trump, where Pete Hegseth, the US Secretary of War, was present.
President Trump led a recent cabinet meeting on Tuesday (December 3), during which he seemed to briefly fall asleep.
Before he was seen with his eyes shut, Trump criticized journalists for their questions, saying: “You always find something new, like, ‘Is he in good health?’” He then sarcastically added, “‘’Biden was great.’”
He further remarked, “I sit here and do four news conferences a day. I ask questions from very intelligent lunatics. You people. I give the right answers. There’s never a scandal. There’s never a problem. I give you answers and solve your little problems,” Trump continued.
He went on to say, “You go back, and you can’t find anything, but you do, you do stories about Biden was in wonderful health. The guy couldn’t do a news conference for eight months.”

Trump added, “If I go one day, I had one day where I didn’t do a news conference. ‘There’s something wrong with the President.’”
The primary focus of discussion from the meeting, however, was the misspelling of Hegseth’s title on his nameplate as ‘SSECRETARY OF WAR’. This typo drew considerable attention online.
There were some outlandish theories suggesting the ‘SS’ was a deliberate nod to the Nazi party, but it is far more plausible that a simple typing error occurred when creating the nameplates for this widely broadcasted cabinet meeting.
Inquiries have been made to the White House for their commentary on the incident.

The meeting, lasting 2 hours and 17 minutes, covered various topics including Trump’s firm stance on drug trafficking, concerns about his health, and a tirade against Somali migrants.
However, social media users couldn’t ignore the moment when Trump’s attention seemingly drifted and he appeared to doze off, leading to nicknames like ‘Dozy Don’ and ‘Commander in Sleep’.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt quickly countered these remarks, telling the Daily Mail: “President Trump was listening attentively and running the entire three-hour marathon Cabinet meeting.”
This event marks the third occasion in recent weeks where the president has faced accusations of nodding off during meetings.
