Transgender women will no longer be allowed to take part in women’s competitions at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, according to newly released guidance.
The International Olympic Committee addressed the issue in an announcement on Thursday.
“Eligibility for any female category event at the Olympic Games or any other IOC event, including individual and team sports, is now limited to biological females.”
