Only a top marksman can spot the hidden deadly sniper in this picture

A photographer has successfully snapped a picture of a deadly sniper concealed from his target. Can you find him?

If you’re up for a challenge this weekend or just want to show that you’re better than your sibling, friend, or partner, then this is the perfect page for you.

From optical illusions to perceived glitches in reality, there are numerous scenes that our brains struggle to comprehend, requiring a closer look to fully understand what’s happening.

Photographer Simon Menner has captured such moments in his ‘Camouflage’ series, which focuses on photographing various environments with a common theme: each image contains a hidden sniper.

Personally, I wouldn’t linger long enough to take a photo if I knew a highly trained shooter was nearby, especially if I couldn’t see them. However, Menner stayed put and took the shot.

The camera shot, that is.

Describing his series on his website, Menner writes: “Even though they are invisible due to their professionalism, there are hidden snipers in every of these images. They are aiming at the camera and therefore at the viewer.”

Menner captured the photos with the assistance of the German, Lithuanian, and Latvian Armies, who supported his photography by providing “generous access to their snipers.”

“I am extremely grateful for the openness I did encounter,” he said.

So, can you actually spot the sniper in this particular photo?

Menner took the photo by aiming his lens at a tower rising from a snow-covered landscape. He stood a short distance away under the cover of some trees, but the scene appears empty.

However, we now know that Menner wasn’t alone at the time the photo was taken.

If you have particularly sharp eyesight, or if you utilize that zoom button and really spend the time, you might be able to spot the sniper.

If you still can’t see him, allow me to reveal his location.

The sniper is hidden in the gap in the wall on the second floor of the tower, tucked away in the corner with his gun pointed at the camera.

He’s not easy to spot, but remember, that’s kind of the whole point…
