Orlando Bloom’s straightforward reply to Katy Perry’s explicit revelation about their relationship

Orlando Bloom delivered an ideal response to his fiancée Katy Perry’s candid comments about their intimate life.

Perry and Bloom began their relationship in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty. Since then, they have welcomed a daughter, Daisy Dove. For Bloom, known for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean, Daisy is his second child, as he has a teenage son, Flynn, with his former wife Miranda Kerr.

The couple parted ways briefly in 2017, a topic Perry explored during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“We weren’t really in it from day one,” she confessed.

“He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.”

Eventually, Perry and Bloom reunited in February 2018, leading to their engagement the following year.

During her discussion with podcast host Alex Cooper, Perry made a playful comment regarding her preferences in romance.

While many might enjoy lavish dates and extravagant presents, the ‘Firework’ artist has a different view.

“If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, and you’ve done all the dishes, and you’ve closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked,” Perry, 40, shared.

After her revealing statement, jokes circulated about Bloom likely cleaning up to claim his reward.

“Orlando is home doing the dishes right now,” one person noted.

Another humorously added: “You better believe Orlando is scrubbing the entire kitchen right now.”

And they were spot on.

Responding to the post, Bloom, 48, humorously commented ‘I’ve cleaned the whole house.’

The public has often speculated about Perry and Bloom’s relationship, particularly after the widely circulated photo from 2016 of them paddle-boarding, where Bloom appeared without clothes.

Perry explained the context behind those photos on the Howard Stern radio show in 2020: “Well, it was Europe. We had had a pretty chill time for a week and everywhere we looked it was like everybody was naked.”

“It was Italy, and I think he wanted to fit in with the locals,” she elaborated.
