Oscars viewers have criticized what they’re calling a “rude” moment after K-Pop Demon Hunters broke new ground at the 98th Academy Awards.
The song Golden, from the 2025 movie, took home Best Score, but many felt the win was quickly dampened when the acceptance speech was abruptly cut short.
\”Omg this is so rude!! They just made history give them 5 extra seconds,\”
Another viewer echoed the frustration, writing:
\”STOP CUTTING WINNERS SPEECHES WHEN WE HAVE TO SIT THROUGH LONG A** UNFUNNY BITS.\”
