The year 2025 has proven to be exceptional for actor and model Pamela Anderson, as her career has been revitalized with a Golden Globe nomination for her critically acclaimed lead role in *The Last Showgirl*.
Additionally, the 58-year-old icon appears to have captured the heart of Liam Neeson after they starred together in *The Naked Gun*.
In the movie, Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., who follows in his father’s footsteps and becomes romantically involved with Anderson’s character, Beth Davenport.
Off-screen, Neeson, now 73, has openly expressed that he is “madly in love” with the former *Baywatch* star. This sentiment seemed evident during their press tour, where they were frequently seen engaging in public displays of affection, although some skeptics dismissed it as a “PR stunt.”
Their displays of affection during interviews, such as holding hands and sharing tender moments, including applying lip balm on each other during an interview with Andy Cohen on *Watch What Happens Live*, led fans to speculate about the depth of their real-life relationship.
In a revealing interview with People magazine, Anderson addressed these rumors and discussed her relationship with the *Taken* star.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” she disclosed.
Anderson provided more details about their connection, mentioning an ‘intimate week’ spent at Neeson’s home in upstate New York.
“I had my own room,” she clarified.
Despite the retreat, the reality of their celebrity status was evident as both of their assistants accompanied them, along with visits from family members.
During their time together, the duo fully embraced their romance, with Neeson taking Anderson to a quaint French restaurant and introducing her as ‘the future Mrs. Neeson.’
Anderson, who has been divorced five times, even witnessed Neeson’s bravery firsthand when he chased away a bear that approached the house.
In return, Anderson added her touch to the 78-year-old widower’s home by attending to his garden’s overgrown rosebushes.
“I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint… I was happy to help, and he appreciated,” she said.
After their ‘romantic lost week’ together, professional commitments required them to part ways.
However, their connection resurfaced during *The Naked Gun* press tour later that year.
Reflecting on this, Anderson said: “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’”
She continued: “I adore Liam, but we are better friends, in full honesty.”
Yet, their bond remains strong, as Neeson recently attended one of her stage performances at the Williamstown Theater Festival to support her ongoing film career.
Anderson expressed her gratitude: “He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me.”
