Pamela Anderson opens up about past relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee

Pamela Anderson recently shared some candid thoughts about her former spouse Tommy Lee during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

The couple famously tied the knot on a beach in Cancun in February 1995, just days after beginning their relationship. Anderson previously told PEOPLE in 2015: “I only knew him four days before I married him.”

During their two-year marriage, they welcomed two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee.

In 1998, Anderson filed for divorce from Lee. He later admitted that the relationship faced challenges due to “trying to raise our children, continue the careers that consumed us, make a new relationship work and deal with the non-stop barrage of bulls**t in the press.”

The couple intermittently rekindled their relationship over the years, finally separating for good in 2008.

Anderson has now opened up about her relationship with Lee for the first time in a while.

While speaking on the SiriusXM podcast Andy Cohen Live, Anderson mentioned that she expects to see Lee at an upcoming family event, specifically the wedding of their son Dylan on June 26.

She shared: “My son Dylan’s getting married soon, so I’ll see them at the wedding.”

Anderson also mentioned that their children maintain a relationship with their father and that she attempts to “stay in contact.”

The Baywatch actress said: “They see him. I always ask about him. I tried to send him pickles. I try to stay in contact.”

Host Andy Cohen, 57, inquired: “He rejected your pickles?”

Anderson responded: “My kids just said, ‘Mom, just…,’ I don’t know what it is. I have to stay out of it, and I shouldn’t really be saying anything, but I do wish them the best.

“I hope everything’s okay.”

Cohen further asked if she specifically wishes her ex, who is the drummer for Mötley Crüe, well.

She affirmed: “Yes.”

When questioned by Cohen about whether Anderson felt communication with Lee might improve if he wasn’t married to Brittany Furlan, whom he wed in 2019, she admitted: “I do.”

Anderson elaborated: “I just think he’s a real romantic. He’s very dedicated to his wife, and I think that he just doesn’t want to cause any waves or maybe, I don’t know, but I don’t like it.”

Lee and Furlan initially connected on the celebrity dating app Raya, although they were aware of each other beforehand.

Furlan told Fox News: “We met online, but we knew about each other for years. He used to watch my Vine videos — he was one of my followers and obviously, I loved his music. I was a Methods of Mayhem fan and Mötley Crüe fan. I wasn’t a huge fan — I didn’t listen to a bunch of Mötley Crüe, but I definitely liked Methods of Mayhem and I always thought he was super attractive. We just hit each other up and ended up going on a couple dates and it was awesome — now here we are.”
