K-pop artist Park Bom has made new claims against her previous management company, YG Entertainment.
This development follows the former 2NE1 member’s implication that she attempted to file a $4.5 quadrillion lawsuit against the company.
In a social media post that has since been deleted, she outlined allegations involving a lawsuit for fraud and embezzlement against YG Entertainment.
Park Bom’s current management, D-Nation, addressed the situation with a statement on Instagram after her post gained significant attention.
They clarified that all financial obligations to Bom had been settled and mentioned that the supposed lawsuit had not been served.
“Park Bom has suspended all activities and is currently focusing on treatment and recovery,” the statement read.
The company further stated, “Our company will do its best to help the artist regain her health.”
An updated statement was issued on Friday, October 24: “Currently, Park Bom’s emotional state is very unstable and communication with her is not smooth, so she is in urgent need of rest and treatment for her recovery.”

“As her posts spread through various forms of social media, they are being interpreted in ways that are different from the truth or in ways that cause unnecessary misunderstandings.”
“This is not only hurting Park Bom herself, but also her family and friends.”
In August, Bom had to withdraw from 2NE1’s planned activities, following advice from medical professionals who emphasized her need for rest.
This decision was made shortly after the group came together again under YG Entertainment for their 15th anniversary, marking their first tour in almost ten years.
Bom participated in the Welcome Back Tour from October 2024 to April 2025.
Since the lawsuit controversy, Bom has used Instagram again.
This time, she accused YG Entertainment of ridiculing her appearance following plastic surgery.
In a post that has now been removed, she stated: “They said they made my appearance look like a freak, just to mock me. YG never once paid for my cosmetic surgery.”

“The few procedures I had were all paid for out of my own pocket. They used me as an example to mock people who had plastic surgeries.”
“Even when I went to dermatology clinics, I paid for everything myself.”
She did not specify which specific procedures she underwent or financed.
Bom further claimed that YG Entertainment ‘locked’ her up and compelled her to ‘write every song, except for one,’ without compensation or songwriting credits.

“I gave my all for singing, but it never paid off. I was never once allowed to do a magazine photoshoot,” she continued.
Bom also alleged that YG Entertainment exploited her family, saying: “They saw that my aunt was good at cooking, so this woman from YG went to learn from my aunt’s cooking teacher, while calling my family poor and pitiful.”
This post has been removed from her social media.
Formed by YG in 2009, 2NE1 rose to become a major name in K-pop before disbanding in 2016.
Their unexpected performance at Coachella in 2022 preceded a full reunion last year, marking their first significant return in nearly a decade.
YG Entertainment has been contacted for a response.
