They say you learn something new every day, but this recent trend among adults may leave you wishing you could forget it.
The boundaries of human creativity seem limitless, and TikTok users have been shocked by an unusual and unsettling new sexual trend.
While intimate encounters in vehicles have been happening for years, the trend known as ‘hamstering’ is taking things up a notch.
Rest assured, it does not involve actual hamsters, so there’s no cause for alarm regarding animal welfare.
It’s bizarre, but not to the extent of being illegal or involving animals.
If you’re considering adding some excitement to your next road trip, this could be an option—but don’t be surprised if your partner isn’t thrilled with the idea.
Recently, a TikTok user shared a video in which she expressed her long-held desire to be a ‘thirsty hamster.’ If this leaves you puzzled, you’re not alone; it did for us too until just moments ago.
The creator, who goes by @jenn_nniffer on TikTok, recorded herself in her vehicle as she demonstrated what this new trend involves.
‘Hamstering’ consists of a male partner climbing onto the car’s roof and lowering, well, a certain part of themselves through the sunroof. Meanwhile, the other partner reaches up from inside the car with their mouth.
This act is intended to resemble how a hamster drinks from a bottle. It takes all kinds, doesn’t it?
If you’re feeling a bit queasy, we understand.
Jennifer did mention potential issues, such as car paint potentially getting scratched by buttons or belt buckles.
While some might find it intriguing, many commenters were as appalled as Jennifer as she maneuvered around the car trying to assess the practicality of the position.
“Unless you have a garage or a long driveway with a lot of trees, this is how you end up on a list,” warned one user.
Another bewildered viewer admitted: “IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO REALIZE THIS WASN’T ABOUT PUTTING A WATER BOTTLE IN THE MOON ROOF.”
“If you’re really trying to figure all that out then he’s too small to do the thirsty hamster challenge lol,” quipped another.
“My Final Destination anxiety kicks in, like what if the sunroof closes and detachment occurs… whoopsy Bobbitt,” remarked one viewer, alluding to the infamous Lorena Bobbitt case.
“I will never be able to get this hamster thing out of my head,” lamented another unsettled commenter, while another added: “I got cramp just watching this.”
We’ll take a pass on this one, thanks.
