People left baffled after Candace Owens suggests Charlie Kirk might be a time traveler

Was Charlie Kirk a time-traveler? What is reality, truly? These aren’t musings from someone under the influence of psychedelics, but rather questions posed by conspiracy theorist Candace Owens to her followers.

The right-wing influencer, who shared a close friendship with Kirk for years before his demise, raised these questions during an extensive tirade on Wednesday (January 14). She continued to theorize about the individuals behind the murder of the 31-year-old founder of Turning Points USA.

Kirk was fatally shot while addressing a large crowd at Utah Valley University in September. His murder prompted a significant manhunt as the shooter fled the scene. In the end, Tyler Robinson was arrested after his parents convinced him to surrender at age 22.

However, Owens asserts that private messages exchanged between her and Kirk, which she disclosed to her audience, suggest a deeper narrative regarding her friend’s assassination. This includes purportedly the involvement of agents like those depicted in the movie The Matrix.

In her disjointed explanation about the motive behind Kirk’s shooting, Owens frequently mentions the notion that ‘they’ were attempting to control and ‘manage’ the young Trump supporter. She also claimed she had been under the influence of these ‘agents’.

Without providing further details, she stated: “They knew something about Charlie, and that’s why they had him marked, had him martyred, and had him followed since he was young.”

Allegedly, ‘they’ intended to ‘alter an outcome related to Charlie’ in the future. Owens did not elaborate on how or why an advanced civilization would create time travel to target Kirk.

“For the first time in his life, Charlie starts pushing back in a major way,” Owens contended, alluding cryptically to Kirk’s criticisms of Israel in the months leading up to his death.

She based her claims in part on a text from Kirk, where he jested about being a time traveler sent to find her.

According to Owens, with Kirk predicting his own demise at a Turning Points USA event, she is convinced he was aware of what lay ahead. She even suggested he ‘knew he would die young’.

Owens mentioned that she initially dismissed her friend’s supposed assertions about being from the future and dying young. However, she has reconsidered their significance following his death, continuously speculating about alternative forces behind his assassination.

Her remarks about Charlie Kirk’s involvement in a time travel assassination conspiracy left many bewildered, with some describing the comments as ‘schizophrenic’.

One confused X user remarked: “This is so painful to watch. Scary still, is there people among us that believe this bullsh*t.”

Another commented: “This woman having an audience is the scariest thing in America right now. People listen to the ramblings of a batshit crazy person, and then adopt it as something to defend. Cooked.”
