Photographer Perfectly Captures Dogs’ Misery Of Wearing The Cone Of Shame

Connecticut-based Ty Foster is an internationally recognized pet photographer. Lately, he has decided to document every dog’s nightmare: the cone.

His new photo series, entitled ‘Timeout’, humorously captures the misery these poor animals feel when subjected to the plastic prison that is the cone of shame.

A device attached temporarily around the neck, the cone of shame is intended to help an animal to stop licking and biting itself.

But these dogs don’t know that.

Looking through these photos, you can almost hear their cries of pain.

Ty writes on his website: “From a dog’s perspective the cone falls into ‘items that should be banished to the depths of hell’ category. Along with the vacuum, going to the vet, and the mailman.”

“The cone is the only torture that lasts for a prolonged period, making a normal life infuriating and just downright embarrassing.”

“Timeout is a series about those hardships that are associated with the cone of shame, emotionally and physically.”

Want to know how dogs truly feel about those restrictive things that stop them from eating and playing like normal?

Just look into those eyes.

They will tell you all you need to know.

For dogs wearing the cone of shame meal times can become a nightmare
