This is Maddie. She’s a Coonhound that likes to balance on things — a feat extensively documented on the website, Maddie on Things.
She’s also quite the traveler.
Together with her owner, photographer Theron Humphrey, she is currently traveling across the United States in a sidecar.
This is for Theron’s latest project, 4X3, for which he plans to photograph 25 women with a passion for motorcycles.
“This project is about having fun. There ain’t nothing too serious or lofty about the journey… I just wanna wake up every morning smiling from ear to ear and hitting the hay each night giving thanks,” Theron wrote.
By the look of things, Maddie is just as comfortable with life on the road as she is balanced atop a fire hydrant.
She seems unfazed with the (sometimes) rough conditions.
Although it probably doesn’t hurt that she’s getting a lot of treats.
Indeed, life can be tough on the road, but not for Maddie and Theron.
