Makers of pop-culture action figures, Funko, has announced a special edition set of Golden Girls dolls that are just begging for some cheesecake and friends.
Currently, the set can only be found at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
If you’re dying to get your hands on these dolls, which by the way make a great addition to a collection of crochet quartets, then you’re gonna need all the luck you can get.
The action figures are available at Funko’s Comic-Con booth which can only be entered through a lottery.
Anyone who wins a pass has a one-item-per-ticket limit on what they can get while they’re in the booth.
But if you can’t make it to New York, Funko’s Pop TV set of Golden Girls is still available online.
“We almost weren’t prepared for the excitement. We created these as a passion project initially, and were blown away when it started trending on social media,” Marketing Director for Funk Mark Robben shared.
The fans have spoken. They want Golden Girls action figures to take to to the Golden Girls Cafe so they can eat their damn cheesecake and coffee with an anecdote à la Sophia Petrillo.
Here’s hoping that they do a wider release of the Comic-Con edition figures soon.
