Pink has put speculation about her marriage to Carey Hart to rest, firmly denying claims the couple has split after two decades together — and she did it with the kind of bite fans know from her music.
The rumour mill kicked off on Thursday after an unnamed source claimed to PEOPLE that the singer and her husband had gone their separate ways. Pink quickly responded on Instagram, making it clear the story wasn’t true.
“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband, I didn’t know. Thank you People magazine, thank you US Weekly. Thank you for letting me know, I was wondering if you’d also like to tell our children, my 14-year-old and 9-year-old, are also unaware.”
Rather than leaving it there, she used the moment to push back against what she saw as misplaced attention — and to point to topics she felt deserved far more coverage than her personal life.

“Or, do you want to talk about some real news?” She went on. “Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Do you want to talk about systemic racism or misogyny in sports or how classy the women’s hockey team is? Or how eight of the 12 medals won in the Olympics this year for the U.S. were won by women? Or do you maybe want to talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock N Roll motherf—-g Hall of Fame?”
“Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise? So fake news, not true, f—–g hate that term. I love you all, go with God and trash news you can do better, night night.”
The 46-year-old “So What” singer had plenty of reason to be annoyed at the timing of the gossip. On Wednesday (Feb 25), she learned she’d been nominated for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 class — her first year of eligibility.
She’s up alongside 17 other major names whose work has left a lasting mark on music, including Lauryn Hill, Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Oasis, Wu-Tang Clan, Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Melissa Etheridge, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, New Edition, Sade, Shakira, and Luther Vandross.
While headlines swirled about her relationship, Pink also took time to celebrate the nomination with a separate Instagram post, sharing how surreal the recognition felt.
“Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee. How is this possible?! Look what we did together y’all!!!!! I never ever fit neatly into a box. That was kind of the whole point.”
“This nomination isn’t mine; it’s ours. It’s for every one of us who ever felt like an outsider or underdog and found something in this music that made them feel less alone.”
