A Nashville police officer faced arrest and termination after being identified in an OnlyFans video while on duty.
In May, Sean Herman was both arrested and dismissed from the Metro Nashville Police Department after allegedly featuring in an OnlyFans skit during his shift.
Although the platform hosts various types of content, NSFW material constitutes a significant portion of the site.
It appears that the former officer participated in an explicit mock traffic stop video for the site. Fellow detectives recognized him after the video went public.
Herman’s arrest and termination from the police department took place on May 9, following the video shoot on April 26.
The Specialized Investigations Division initially uncovered the video and quickly identified Herman as the involved officer.
The police department confirmed his arrest on two counts of felony official misconduct.
“Specialized Investigations Division detectives today arrested former Nashville police officer Sean Herman at his Sumner County home on two counts of felony official misconduct for taking part in the production of an adult video while on duty,” stated a new release from police.
The release continued: “Chief John Drake fired Herman, 33, on May 9, one day after Specialized Investigations Division detectives discovered the video and identified him as the person in an MNPD uniform.”
The police described how Herman appeared from the chest down in the video during the mock traffic stop scene on OnlyFans.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Herman allegedly “groped the exposed breast of the female driver” in the video.
The video was filmed in a warehouse parking lot in the Madison area. Police confirmed that neither the woman in the video nor the person wearing the camera were employees.
Months later, Herman had his POST certification suspended following a hearing.
Although he was not present at the hearing, Herman agreed to indefinitely suspend his POST certification amid the criminal charges.
He is scheduled to appear in court on September 19, where further details of this ongoing case will be disclosed.
Herman had been employed by the Metro Nashville Police Department for three years before the video came to light.
Following his arrest, a Criminal Court judge set Herman’s bond at $3,000.
