According to an insider, Kanye West’s recent Grammys stunt with his wife, Bianca Censori, could have significant financial repercussions for him.
In one of the night’s most buzzed-about moments, Kanye, 47, and Censori, 30, stole the spotlight on the red carpet when Censori dropped her black fur coat to reveal a see-through dress.
The incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking debates over the provocative fashion statement and whether the couple was escorted out of the event.
Kanye addressed these rumors in a since-deleted Instagram post, criticizing journalist Don Lemon: “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”
Don Lemon responded: “First of all, Kanye… Ye, yay – whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys, I actually corrected it.
“I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. So first of all, get your s*** straight, and you of all people calling me a k**n. That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”
Despite the backlash, Kanye appeared unfazed, describing the dress as ‘custom couture.’
“Custom Couture Grammy dress for the most beautiful ever,” he posted on Instagram. “My love, my best friend and my wife.”
However, while Kanye is pleased with the bold fashion choice, his investors may not share the same sentiment, as suggested by an insider.
The rapper, who was up for Best Rap Song at the Grammys with his track ‘Carnival,’ has planned performances at the Tokyo Dome in May, a contract reportedly valued at $20 million. Yet, a source told MailOnline that his Grammys appearance has been met with disapproval from business partners.
“Kanye is just f***ing up every opportunity that comes to him. The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan,” the source claimed, suggesting he may have lost the lucrative deal.

The source noted that Japan is undergoing a ‘cultural awakening’ regarding women’s rights: “He has completely culturally misjudged Japan.”
Beyond financial concerns, some fans speculate about potential legal issues for Censori due to her revealing outfit.
California law defines ‘Indecent Exposure’ as exposing one’s naked body or genitals in a manner that could offend someone. Although this crime is often associated with public settings, it can occur elsewhere.
Indecent exposure can carry a penalty of up to six months in jail or a fine of up to $1,000. However, according to TMZ, LAPD sources stated they have not received any complaints about the outfit, making legal repercussions unlikely.
