Savannah Chrisley, 29, has revealed she is pregnant and engaged to convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, 56.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum dropped the bombshell Tuesday on her “Unlocked” podcast, confirming both her pregnancy and her engagement to a man she called “J” without initially naming him. The outlet subsequently identified him as Galanis, a businessman with a lengthy criminal history and ties to Hunter Biden.
Galanis served more than 14 years in prison after his September 2020 sentencing for his role in two fraud schemes, including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars. He was ordered to forfeit approximately $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.
The 56-year-old’s path crossed with Todd Chrisley’s in an unexpected way. Galanis and Todd, 57, both served time at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, with their prison terms overlapping from January to August 2023, reports said.
President Trump commuted Galanis’s prison sentence in March 2025. Two months later, in May 2025, Trump pardoned both Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, 53, after the reality stars were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022.
Savannah defended the 27-year age gap between herself and Galanis during her podcast announcement, acknowledging it partly drove her decision to keep their year-long romance private.
“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,'” she said on the podcast.
She continued to praise her fiancé, calling him her “best friend” and dismissing concerns about their age difference.
“It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there,” she shared. “So yes, the age difference. So what?”
Savannah stressed that Galanis doesn’t “look his age, nor does he act his age,” and gushed about his “great” body and “even sharper” mind. She called him the love of her life.
Galanis’s criminal history extends beyond his fraud convictions. He was an associate of Hunter Biden and testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while still incarcerated. His past business dealings earned him the moniker “Porn’s New King” in some reports.
The Chrisley family’s legal troubles have been extensively documented. Todd and Julie were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022 after allegedly submitting fake documents to banks when applying for loans. Julie also allegedly submitted false credit reports and bank statements while trying to rent a house in California.
Savannah has been vocal about her parents’ incarceration and her role in caring for her younger siblings during their absence. She has not publicly addressed how her father’s prison time overlapping with her future husband’s might affect family dynamics.
Galanis’s release through Trump’s commutation and Todd’s subsequent pardon by the same president created an unusual connection between the two men before Savannah and Galanis’s romance became public.
Savannah indicated on her podcast that she and Galanis began dating last year, meaning their relationship started after both men had left the Pensacola prison camp.
She gave no indication of a wedding date during her announcement.
