Savannah Chrisley’s mystery fiancé has been unmasked as convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, a man 27 years her senior with ties to Hunter Biden who was freed from prison by a Trump clemency order.
Reports said Galanis’s identity on Tuesday, the same day the 29-year-old “Chrisley Knows Best” alum revealed via Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child. The 56-year-old Galanis had been the unnamed “much older” partner Chrisley had alluded to in earlier posts about her relationship.

Galanis first drew national attention in September 2020, when he was sentenced to more than 14 years in federal prison for his role in two fraud schemes. One of those schemes defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars. The man once dubbed “Porn’s New King” was also ordered to forfeit roughly $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.

His path crossed with presidential politics through Hunter Biden. Galanis, an associate of the president’s son, testified in the impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while still incarcerated.
President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’s prison sentence in March 2025. The White House offered no public explanation for the clemency grant. Trump’s order not only cut short Galanis’s prison term but also absolved him of the financial penalties tied to his conviction.

The Galanis pardon came just months before Trump extended similar relief to Chrisley’s own parents. Todd Chrisley, 57, and Julie Chrisley, 53, received presidential pardons in May 2025, wiping out the bank fraud and tax evasion convictions that sent them to prison in 2022. Todd had been serving a 12-year sentence and Julie a seven-year term, with both also facing supervised release requirements that the pardon eliminated.
Savannah’s plunge into criminal justice reform advocacy grew directly from her parents’ legal troubles. Her fight for their freedom pulled her into Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and opened doors to prominent Republican circles, though it remains unclear exactly how she and Galanis first connected.

On Instagram Tuesday, Chrisley shared a video displaying her growing baby bump alongside an emotional caption about her long road to motherhood.

“I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine. 🥹🤍,” she wrote.
Though she did not name Galanis in the post, she described him in glowing terms as her “protector,” her “fiercest fighter,” and her “most loyal person.”

The age gap between the couple has drawn heavy scrutiny online, a dynamic Chrisley addressed directly on a recent episode of her “Unlocked” podcast. She fired back at critics with a blunt declaration about her priorities.

“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,'” she insisted.
She added that she does “not care” about what she called “brutal” criticism of the relationship.
Chrisley’s parents were convicted in June 2022 of conspiring to defraud banks and evade federal taxes, charges that stemmed from their time as the heads of a wealthy Georgia family chronicled on USA Network’s “Chrisley Knows Best.” Prosecutors showed the couple had submitted false documents to obtain millions in loans and had hidden income from the IRS. The case against them included testimony from a former employee who detailed the family’s financial maneuvering, and the verdict came after a three-week trial in Atlanta. Their sentences were handed down in November 2022, with Todd receiving the longer term. The pardons in May 2025 erased those punishments entirely, though the convictions themselves remain on their records.

Galanis’s own criminal history stretches back years before his 2020 sentencing. His fraud schemes involved sophisticated financial structures that prosecutors said bilked investors and a tribal entity out of massive sums, with Galanis personally pocketing millions. The “Porn’s New King” moniker referenced his involvement in adult entertainment businesses that figured in his broader financial dealings.

Chrisley’s pregnancy announcement marks a new chapter for a family that has spent years in legal and public turmoil. Her embrace of Galanis, despite his criminal record and the quarter-century age difference, signals her continued willingness to defy conventional expectations.

Chrisley is expected to continue releasing new episodes of her “Unlocked” podcast, where she has been open about her personal life and family struggles.
