Prime Video Series with 95% Viewer Binge Rate as Final Season Approaches

Subscribers of Prime Video can enjoy a thriller series rated at 95 percent, with a third season in the pipeline.

The streaming service offers a collection of noteworthy TV shows, featuring an ‘unforgettable’ British series and another with a ‘perfect ending.’

Enthusiasts of psychological thrillers and intense drama have much to anticipate, including this series spanning two seasons, which is poised to return for its third and final chapter.

With a cast filled with notable names and already receiving critical acclaim, this Amazon Prime Video original promises to conclude with a mesmerizing ending.

The storyline revolves around Lucy Chambers (Jessica Raine), a social worker who wakes up every night at exactly 3:33 am, tormented by visions and forewarnings.

As if her life isn’t complex enough, her son Isaac (Benjamin Chivers) is emotionally distant, her mother converses with an empty chair, and Lucy becomes mysteriously connected to a string of violent murders in her town. Determined to uncover the truth, she embarks on a relentless pursuit of the murderer, regardless of the consequences.

This series is titled The Devil’s Hour, named after the time Lucy finds herself awake each night.

The ensemble cast also features Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi, Nikesh Patel, Ted Lasso’s Phil Dunster, and Meera Syal.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes awarded it a remarkable 95 percent score, stating, “Creepy and well-acted, The Devil’s Hour is a superlative horror series that will have viewers doubting reality as much as its haunted characters.”

Viewers gave it an 88 percent rating, with one commenting, “From the opening scene, it is evident that everyone involved got the assignment. Brilliantly edited with highly creative scene transition that move the story along effectively between timelines.”

Another viewer described the initial season as ‘an engrossing, spine-chilling, labyrinthine rollercoaster of a rabbit hole,’ while a social media user remarked, “This series is probably the best ever made, and is criminally underrated.”

The first season was released in October 2022, with the second following in October 2024.

Prime Video had already announced that the third season was filmed before the second season aired.

However, there hasn’t been an official release date announced yet.

Considering the pattern of previous releases, it is possible that the next season could arrive in October 2026.

Nonetheless, hopeful fans speculate it may be sooner, with some reports suggesting a release date of 17 October 2025, although this is still unverified.

We’ll just have to wait and see how it unfolds…

The Devil’s Hour is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
