Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank welcome third baby and say they are beyond in love

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announced the safe arrival of their daughter on Monday, August 3, at 6.20pm at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.

Eugenie, 36, posted on Instagram: “Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie.”

The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces.

King Charles and other members of the Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.

Buckingham Palace issued an official statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.”

King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with other members of the Royal Family, were delighted to be informed of the news.

The royal couple are taking time to decide on the name of their new daughter while the family enjoys spending time together with August and Ernest.

The birth in Lisbon marks a new chapter for the family, as
the Brooksbanks split their time between the UK and Portugal.

Eugenie and her daughter are doing well following the birth.

This is the third child for the 36-year-old royal and her 37-year-old husband, who
wed in 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.

They welcomed August in 2021; Ernest followed in 2023.

August Philip Hawke Brooksbank was born in February 2021 and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank arrived in May 2023.

In the viral moment when Eugenie announced her third pregnancy on May 4, she shared a sweet family photo on Instagram.
Her caption read: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”

In the photo, the two brothers held a sonogram with the outline of their future sibling.

Buckingham Palace shared a statement that read, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.”

The statement continued: “August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.”

The new arrival completes the family as
Eugenie is the younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, and a niece of King Charles III.

Eugenie met Jack Brooksbank in 2010 during a ski trip in Verbier, Switzerland, and got engaged in January 2018. They married in October 2018.
