A woman rumored to be the ‘secret’ daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed her feelings on social media, criticizing the individual who ‘destroyed her life’ and ‘took millions’ of others.
The Kremlin has consistently avoided discussing Elizaveta Krivonogikh, but the 22-year-old is believed to be the daughter of Putin and Svetlana Krivonogikh, a cleaner with whom the Russian president allegedly had an affair during the early 2000s while he was married to Lyudmila Putina.
According to The Times, Krivonogikh has used pseudonyms in the past to hide her real name, Vladimirovna, which means ‘daughter of Vladimir.’
An investigation by the Ukrainian television station TSN revealed that she used to go by names like Elizaveta Olegovna Rudnova.
The name Olegovna translates to ‘daughter of Oleg,’ and it resembles that of Putin’s former close associate Oleg Rudnov, who passed away in 2015.
Reports suggest Rudnov took on personal errands for Putin, including purportedly buying property for individuals such as Svetlana Krivonogikh, Elizaveta’s mother.
Though Krivonogikh doesn’t frequently share details of her life online, German newspaper Bild reported that she recently posted a selfie with a caption on a private Telegram channel.
The photo depicted her in a car, accompanied by the caption: “It’s liberating to be able to show my face to the world again. It reminds me of who I was born to be and who destroyed my life. The man who took millions of lives and who destroyed mine.”
Although she did not explicitly mention Putin, the hint at the ‘man who took millions of lives’ is significant amidst Russia’s ongoing military actions in Ukraine.
This revelation follows TSN’s earlier claims that Krivonogikh resided in Paris, working at a gallery. After finding out about her supposed connection to the Russian president, an artist dissociated from the gallery, deeming it ‘inadmissible’ for a member of his family to be employed there.
In response to the artist’s criticism, Krivonogikh defended herself, questioning: “Am I really responsible for the activities of my family, who can’t even hear me?”
The Kremlin has not confirmed the identity of Krivonogikh’s father, but Putin is officially recognized as having two daughters, Maria and Katerina.
UNILAD has contacted the Kremlin for a statement.
