Rapper PnB Rock Dead at 30 After Shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in L.A.

Rapper PnB Rock died Monday after a robbery and shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles.

Rakim Allen, also known as PnB Rock, is best known for his 2016 single “Selfish.”

Around 1:00 p.m., a shooting occurred at the renowned eatery at Main Street and Manchester Avenue. According to social media posts, the rapper and his girlfriend had dinner at Roscoe’s before the assault.

According to Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz, the attacker entered Roscoe’s with a gun in hand and demanded jewelry from PnB Rock. “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz said.

PnB Rock was shot and taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead just before 2:00 p.m.

The rapper’s most recent song, “Luv Me Again,” was released earlier this month. In addition to his smash “Selfish,” which reached at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, the rapper also worked with YFN Lucci on the 2017 tune “Everyday We Lit.”
