Ray J’s fans were taken aback during a recent performance when it seemed as though blood was streaming from his eyes.
The Mississippi-born rapper had previously shared his harrowing experience with a severe case of pneumonia, which he claimed nearly claimed his life.
During a startling revelation, Ray J mentioned that doctors informed him his heart was functioning at merely ’25 percent’.
During a concert on February 14 at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Louisiana, footage captured a red liquid trickling down his face, sparking concern among fans about his well-being.
The ‘Intimate Valentine’s Day concert’ also included performances by renowned R&B artists like Kelly Price, Sunshine Anderson, and Bobby Valentino.
Ray J’s act, however, gained the most attention on social media, following his recent disclosures about the health challenges he has faced.
Ray J, known for his infamous tape with Kim Kardashian, has even suggested he may not have much time left, stating ‘2027 is definitely a wrap’ after being told by doctors that his heart was ‘black’.
In a forthright confession, he discussed how his lifestyle choices might have adversely affected his health.
He expressed: “I thought I was so big so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, the drugs, I can handle everything – but I couldn’t. It curved my time.”
Ray J also mentioned he was considering getting a pacemaker and is reportedly on medication prescribed for those at risk of heart failure.

Despite these issues, in a video shared by E! News on January 30, Ray J claimed he ‘felt great’, and his manager praised the doctor’s ‘miracles’.
On stage, while distributing red roses to the audience and smiling, a red liquid could be seen streaming from behind his sunglasses.
In another segment from the performance, Ray J unzips his orange jumpsuit, revealing what appears to be a medical dressing on the upper left side of his chest, prompting speculation about its connection to cardiac medication.
Concerned fans shared their reactions on social media, with one asking: “Why would blood be coming out like that?”
Another commented: “This looks wild af…but blood from the eyes during a performance with a heart monitor? Either it’s some next-level stage makeup/effects or he’s in serious trouble. Praying it’s the first one and he gets the help he needs. Heart at 25% ain’t no joke.”
A third video, filmed backstage, captures the rapper sitting with a friend who brings up his health issues without specifically mentioning his eyes.
Ray J is heard responding: “Damn, I’m getting better! You’re gonna laugh at me being sick…It’s not fair. We’re okay, that’s what I’m saying, like, don’t do that.”
Addressing the camera, he reassured: “Hey y’all, we perfectly fine, look at me. I’m fine.”
