Raygun hints at significant career shift after fans notice revealing detail

Raygun could be poised to capitalize on her sudden viral fame.

The Australian dancer, known by her real name Rachael Gunn, participated in this year’s Olympics in breakdancing, but unfortunately, she ended up with zero points.

Her performance quickly gained viral attention due to her unique dance moves, including the now-infamous kangaroo hop.

After the 36-year-old received her score of nil, a breakdancing judge at the Olympics clarified that her performance was not as poor as it seemed, but that her competitors were simply better.

Judge MGbility explained: “Her competitors were just better but it doesn’t mean that she did really bad. She did her best.”

Although Raygun didn’t achieve the score she hoped for, it is speculated that her newfound fame could bring her significant financial opportunities.

If she secures endorsement deals with major companies like McDonald’s, Raygun could reportedly earn up to $500,000 per deal.

There are now rumors that she could land a significant TV deal after quietly signing with an Australian talent agency.

Raygun has signed with Born Bred Talent, which boasts a roster of various social media stars.

While she hasn’t officially announced this, fans noticed that the dancer added a representative’s email from the company to her Instagram page.

With her new talent agency in mind, it’s believed that the producers of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! have taken an interest in Raygun.

“Raygun would be the ideal campmate,” a source told New Idea magazine, according to news.com.au.

“The public will want to hear her story in the jungle. Love her or loathe her, she has everyone talking,” the source continued.

Despite the potential for exciting new opportunities, Raygun has also faced negative attention from her viral fame.

Some comments have been so harsh that Raygun felt compelled to issue a statement, describing the hate as ‘devastating’.

“I really appreciate the positivity and I’m glad I was able to bring some joy into your lives, that’s what I hoped,” she said in an Instagram video posted on August 15.

Raygun continued: “I didn’t realise that would also open the door to so much hate, which has frankly been pretty devastating. But I went out there and had fun.

“I worked my butt off preparing for the Olympics and I gave it my all, truly. And I am honored to have been part of the Australian team and part of Australia’s breaking debut.

“What the other athletes have achieved is just phenomenal.”

Raygun concluded her statement by asking the media to refrain from “harassing my family, my friends, the Australian breaking community, and the broader street-dancing community”.
