Resurfaced Interview Challenges Brooklyn Beckham’s Allegation Against David and Victoria

Rumors of a Beckham family feud have been circulating for quite some time, but it seems their eldest son, Brooklyn, has now substantiated these claims.

In a lengthy six-page Instagram Story, Brooklyn, the 26-year-old son of renowned soccer player David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, disclosed details about accusations that he alleges were spread by his parents through the media.

The focal point of the alleged discord is Brooklyn’s lavish 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.

In his candid narrative, Brooklyn describes how advocating for himself amidst family disagreements about the wedding resulted in “endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly.”

Brooklyn accuses his parents of feeding false information to the press, countering claims that his wife had rejected his mother Victoria’s input on a wedding dress design.

There were claims that Nicola, 31, opted for a Valentino gown over a design by Victoria Beckham. This was reportedly a significant source of tension with the Beckham family, but Brooklyn insists his mother actually rejected Nicola.

He shared on Instagram: “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”

He continued, “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”

Fans and online investigators have unearthed an interview from the wedding period that calls into question this last-minute cancellation narrative.

In a 2022 Vogue interview, Nicola’s stylist revealed that her simplistic white gown with a detailed embroidered train was the product of a year-long collaboration with Valentino’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

In a separate Grazia interview, Nicola explained that Victoria had initially promised a dress, but later indicated that it couldn’t be completed in time for the wedding.

She recounted: “So, I spoke to my mum and [stylist] Leslie, and I was like, ‘Well, unfortunately, this can’t happen, so what’s the next step?'”

“I’ve been a fan of Valentino and their couture for so long. I was really lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress. That’s really what happened.”

Brooklyn also claimed that before their wedding, his family made it clear that they did not view Nicola as part of the Beckham family, even suggesting he relinquish rights to his last name.

He added: “The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’.”
