Revealing poll uncovers Americans’ true opinions on Trump’s economy amidst claims of ‘tremendous’ price drops

A recent poll highlights the American public’s view on Trump’s economic policies.

In his second term, Trump has prioritized tariffs as a key aspect of his administration’s economic strategy, implementing significant taxes on imported goods to the US.

The imposed tariffs vary depending on the country, with some nations managing to negotiate lower rates with the US government.

Globally, many countries are experiencing the impact of Trump’s tariffs.

This policy has significantly affected the US economy as well, leading to higher prices for American consumers since the increased cost of importing goods is transferred to them.

Despite these effects, Trump has consistently asserted that prices in the US are actually decreasing. But how does the general public perceive this situation?

In short, the outlook isn’t promising for the president in terms of his economic policies.

The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that merely 31 percent of US adults approve of Trump’s economic management.

This represents a decline from 40 percent in March, marking the lowest economic approval rating Trump has received from an AP-NORC poll in both his terms to date.

The disapproval numbers are stark, with 67 percent not approving of the president’s economic policies.

This poll arrives at an inconvenient moment for the president as the Republican Party gears up for the midterm elections.

However, the economic sector isn’t the only area where Trump’s approval ratings have diminished.

The president’s approval has also waned in areas that are central to his administration and where he previously scored well.

According to the new poll, 43 percent approve of Trump’s approach to crime, down from 53 percent just a short while ago.

The immigration issue follows a similar trend. Previously, in March, Trump’s approval rating on immigration stood at 49 percent.

Now, after widespread distribution of videos showing masked ICE officers conducting immigration raids, which have had tangible effects on communities, public approval of Trump’s immigration policy has dropped by 11 percent to 38 percent.

While Trump’s ratings on specific issues are unfavorable, his overall approval has only slightly decreased, with 36 percent of Americans supporting his overall handling of the presidency, down from 42 percent.
