RFK Jr.’s ‘insane’ remarks on children’s sperm counts leave people deeply unsettled

RFK Jr has drawn attention with remarks concerning the US’s fertility rates during a recent speech.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Health and Human Services Secretary, addressed the White House on Thursday, October 16, and made some puzzling statements regarding fertility rates.

He claimed that the decreasing birth rate in the US is attributed to endocrine disruptors and labeled the decline as a national security concern.

RFK Jr. mentioned that Donald Trump was tackling this problem “through his MAHA agenda of reducing endocrine disruptors, the exposures, the chemicals that decrease fertility.”

He elaborated: “When my uncle was president, the fertility rate in this country was 3.5%. Today, it is 1.6%. The replacement rate, in other words, the amount of fertility that you need in order to keep your population even is 2.1%. We are below replacement, right now.

“Today the average teenager in this country has 50 percent of the sperm count, 50 percent of the testosterone of a 65-year-old man.

“Our girls are hitting puberty six years early and that is bad but also our parents aren’t having children.

“Parents that want to have children do not have access. I have seven children, I feel God has blessed me with that and I can’t imagine how different my life would be if I did not have that blessing.”

Contrary to his assertions, specialists in the medical and scientific fields have pointed out that sperm counts naturally decrease with age, suggesting that a teenage boy is likely to possess a significantly higher count than a man in his sixties.

RFK Jr’s statements have quickly circulated on social media platforms, and some individuals have questioned the accuracy of his claims, as well as the methods used to obtain the data.

One Reddit user commented: “How the f*** is the government getting sperm counts on teenagers? This is insane.”

Another commented: “If teenage boy has 10 sperm and teenage girl has 0 sperm, the average teen has 5 sperm which is 50%.”

A third remarked: “Not having kids cause people can’t afford housing you f****** MAGA schill.”

Meanwhile, another exasperated user noted: “What he stated about teenage boys vs 65 year old men is patently false. He makes these inflammatory claims, incites a reaction and meanwhile nothing he said is based in fact. He’s just throwing s*** against the wall to see if anything sticks.”

Another user humorously remarked: “The average American has only one testicle!”

The White House has been contacted for comment.
