RFK Jr. shares unique reason for wearing jeans at the gym after video goes viral

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has disclosed the unusual reason he opts for jeans during his gym sessions after a video of his workout routine gained widespread attention.

He was photographed in denim pants while performing chin-ups and push-ups at a gym located within the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from Washington DC.

This was part of the Trump administration’s ‘Make America Healthy Again’ campaign, where the ‘Pete and Bobby Challenge’ involved Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth completing 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups in 10 minutes, alongside RFK Jr.

Following the challenge, RFK Jr. shared the footage on Twitter, leaving many viewers puzzled.

His tweet stated: “I teamed up with @SecDef Hegseth for the ‘Pete & Bobby Challenge’ — 50 pull-ups, 100 push-ups. This is the start of a nationwide push to get Americans fit again. We’re calling on our friend @SecDuffy to take the challenge.”

One Twitter user questioned: “Why is RFK Jr doing pull-ups and push-ups in jeans?”

Another remarked: “RFK, Jr. working out in jeans and a belt is absolutely diabolical.”

Yet another added: “Do you think RFK has workout jeans and casual jeans. Or he just freeballs and takes his musk with him everywhere.”

Luckily, Jesse Watters of Fox News had the opportunity to ask RFK Jr. about his attire choice.

During an episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, the host inquired: “Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is here. Mr Secretary, thank you so much for joining us. Before we get started, I have to ask a question that everybody is wondering about. Why do you wear jeans when you workout?”

RFK Jr. responded: “Well I just started doing that a long time ago because I would go hiking in the morning and then go straight to the gym and I found it was convenient, and now I’m used to it so I just do it.”

Remarkably, the 71-year-old genuinely finds it practical to remain in jeans for a workout instead of changing into athletic wear.

Even more surprising was Watters’ reaction.

“Okay. There are a lot of theories but that makes perfect sense,” he replied.

PERFECT SENSE, really? Wearing jeans in a gym seems quite unconventional!

Nonetheless, the health secretary went through a series of exercises while wearing hiking boots and jeans, managing to outperform Hegseth as the defense secretary faced challenges with chin-ups.
