The “Unstable” co-creator, 30, posted the full text of the 19th-century verse to his social media account as his family continues to grieve the loss of the teenager, who passed away at the hospital last Tuesday. John Owen is the youngest son of actor Rob Lowe, 60, and his wife Sheryl Berkoff.

“HOPE is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all,” the poem reads in part. “And sweetest in the gale is heard; and sore must be the storm that could abash the little bird that kept so many warm.”

The post concluded with Dickinson’s final stanza: “I’ve heard it in the chillest land, and on the strangest sea; yet, never, in extremity, it asked a crumb of me.”

Fiona was the middle daughter of actor Chad Lowe, 56, and his wife Kim Painter. The couple also shares Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10. Chad is Rob Lowe’s younger brother, making Fiona the “Parks and Recreation” star’s niece.

Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”
