Excitement is at an all-time high for Grand Theft Auto enthusiasts as the long-awaited second trailer for GTA VI has finally been released.
This new teaser arrives over a year after the first trailer, which was unveiled a day ahead of schedule due to leaks. However, this wasn’t a voluntary early release by the developers. Instead, Rockstar Games opted to share it 24 hours earlier than planned to address the leak issues.
Now, the much-anticipated second trailer has dropped, sending fans into a whirlwind of excitement.
“THIS IS ABOUT TO BE THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME,” one enthusiastic GTA supporter exclaimed.
Another fan declared, “Gaming is saved.”
A third fan on social media shared, “This trailer cured my seasonal depression, thanks Rockstar.”
Another individual expressed relief, saying it was ‘about damn time’ for the release of the second trailer.
Take a look at the trailer:
Even though the trailer is finally out, fans will still have to wait an entire year for the game’s release.
Initially, it was expected that GTA VI would be available this year. However, fans were disappointed to learn that Rockstar has postponed the release date to May 2026.

In a statement shared on Instagram on May 2, the game publisher announced: “Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to release on May 26, 2026.
“We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game.”
The statement continued: “With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.
“We look forward to sharing more information with you soon. Sincerely, Rockstar.”
One gamer remarked, “This game ain’t ever coming out at this rate!!!”
Another echoed, “This game is never coming out bro.” Despite these sentiments, some players understood why Rockstar Games decided on the delay.
“Good. Better than other companies releasing unfinished buggy games,” noted a more supportive GTA fan.
