Fenoli and Kobal celebrated their engagement with a gathering at the Marmara Park Avenue hotel in NYC. People magazine reported that the 58-year-old had planned an elaborate surprise for the bar manager. The duo posed for a photo with their rings and hugged against the backdrop of the New York City skyline.

The couple, who started dating in January, had an elaborate engagement in front of 50 of their closest friends and family at the Marmara Park Avenue hotel in NYC. According to People magazine, Fenoli, 58, tricked his boyfriend, Kobal, into believing they were going to have dinner at the Museum of Modern Art, when in fact he had planned the surprise. Kobal, who was working as a bar manager at the Marmara, was pleasantly surprised.

“I’m so in love,” Fenoli told People about the engagement. “Every day I’m giddy. And every day just gets more amazing. It really does. It’s easy. It’s nothing what I thought a relationship was and nothing like I’ve ever had in the past. It’s unbelievable.”
