Christian “King” Combs, 28, doubled down on his public support for his imprisoned father during a recent livestream hosted by rapper DDG.
The younger Combs appeared on DDG’s stream and enthusiastically greeted the host on a dancefloor before turning directly to the camera. He looked into the lens and twice implored viewers, “Free Pops.” DDG, 27, offered no verbal response to the plea, instead maintaining a neutral smile, turning away, and continuing to dance to the music.

This latest appeal comes as Sean “Diddy” Combs, 56, serves time following his July 2025 conviction on two felony counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The Bad Boy Records founder was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison that October, though his sentence has since been reduced multiple times.
The conviction followed an eight-week trial that ended with acquittals on the most severe charges. A jury found him not guilty of two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and one count of racketeering conspiracy. When those acquittals came down, Christian celebrated alongside his siblings outside the courtroom, telling reporters he was going to “hug my Pops.”
Christian has woven his father’s legal battle into his music career. Last June, he collaborated with Kanye “Ye” West on a seven-track EP titled “Never Stop,” which included a song explicitly named “Diddy Free.”

The elder Combs has continued generating headlines from behind bars. He was released from temporary solitary confinement this month following an altercation with another inmate in late July. Details of the incident remain limited, but the confinement marked another turbulent chapter in his incarceration.
Days before the DDG livestream, Christian and his brother Justin Combs were photographed celebrating actress Keke Palmer’s 33rd birthday. Palmer posted the snap to Instagram on Thursday, prompting a swift backlash in her comments section from followers troubled by the connection to Diddy. After Christian wished Palmer a happy birthday in the comments, one fan fired back, “stay away from her!!!!!”

The birthday photo controversy underscores how Diddy’s legal troubles continue to shadow his children’s public appearances. Christian, for his part, has shown no signs of distancing himself from his father, repeatedly using social platforms and now livestreams to keep the “Free Pops” message in circulation.
