Selena Gomez has indirectly responded to rumors about her fiancé Benny Blanco allegedly cheating, without uttering a single word.
The news of Gomez’s relationship with Blanco took fans by surprise, as the two had been friends for a long time. They first met as teenagers around the age of 17 and collaborated on Blanco’s track ‘I Can’t Get Enough’ in 2019.
In December 2023, Gomez revealed that she had been dating Blanco, whose real name is Benjamin Levin. The romantic connection reportedly ignited when they worked together on her track, ‘Single Soon’.
The 11-time Grammy nominee began co-producing the song in August 2023, and the relationship blossomed from there.
Blanco proposed to Gomez in December of the previous year, and since then, the couple has remained in the public eye.
Earlier this year, the couple participated in a joint interview with Interview Magazine. During the discussion, Blanco expressed his concern that the former Disney Channel star might change her mind and leave him.
Gomez dismissed this worry, highlighting their strong romantic bond. She shared a story of a Valentine’s Day surprise where Blanco filled a bathtub with nacho cheese and used chips to spell out ‘I love you’ on the floor.
Last month, the couple grabbed attention once more after fans noticed a suggestive item—a bottle of lube—visible in the background of one of Gomez’s Instagram posts.
Despite their seemingly strong relationship, rumors circulated that Blanco might have been unfaithful.
This speculation intensified when Gomez reportedly unfollowed her close friend, Theresa Marie, on Instagram.
Fans noticed Marie, an OnlyFans star, having a private dinner with Blanco, leading to assumptions that there were issues in Gomez and Blanco’s relationship.
Gomez, however, seemed to tackle these rumors by posting on Instagram, aiming to put an end to the speculation.
In line with the adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words,’ Gomez shared a warm snapshot with Marie, which fans interpreted as a clear response to the cheating allegations.
In a series of nostalgic images with her loved ones, Gomez, 32, added the caption: “lil blast from the past because basically I’m lying horizontal rn and reminiscing bout some memories,” accompanied by a love heart emoji for emphasis.
Marie, previously a personal executive assistant to Kim Kardashian, met Gomez through work in 2014, and by 2019, they had become best friends.
In another Instagram post, Gomez once wrote: “I met Theresa 5 years ago. We worked together and became best friends.
“She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman.
“She is beautiful, kind and smart. I saw how capable she was of achieving her dreams. I wanted nothing more than to see her pursue them and soar.
