Self-Made Billionaire’s Three Astonishing Predictions for the Future Are All Becoming Reality

One individual has managed to stay unnoticed while accurately forecasting our future developments.

Typically, when I delve into future predictions, it’s often tales of impending doom or other sensational claims. Regardless of one’s religious beliefs or lack thereof, Earth will continue its orbit around the Sun long after we’re gone.

This discussion, however, veers in a different direction and centers on insights from a brilliant mathematician.

Patrick Collison, a self-made billionaire from the quaint village of Dromineer in Ireland, has made three striking predictions about the future that are now unfolding.

At 35, Collison is the CEO of Stripe, a prominent US-based multinational financial services and software company, with headquarters in both South San Francisco, California, and Dublin, Ireland.

In 2022, he foresaw that AI would manage empires autonomously while we sleep and that the forthcoming significant application would be created by someone without coding skills.

His third prediction highlighted that understanding APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) would become as essential as literacy.

The rapid advancement of AI and technology as a whole is unmistakable, but there’s an underlying link connecting them all.

This link, apparently, is APIs.

But what exactly are APIs?

According to AltexSoft, an API is a set of programming code that facilitates data transfer between different software products.

Admittedly, it can be quite complex.

So how are Collison’s predictions playing out?

AI is reportedly executing $250 billion in daily stock trades at JPMorgan, independently of human intervention.

The stock market is now significantly influenced by AI, which autonomously determines investment decisions.

His second prediction, about ‘the next big app’ being created by someone who can’t code, has also materialized.

According to Baptiste Parravicini, the CEO of Api Days, ‘no-code apps have hit $1 billion in yearly valuations’.

Parravicini also tweeted that Collison was correct about his third prediction regarding the importance of understanding APIs.

Baptiste remarked: “Tech skills are a requirement in 90% of jobs.”

Could Collison be the next Steve Jobs?

It certainly seems like a name we’ll continue to hear about.
