Britt, 43, was seated beside Sen. Eric Schmitt, 49, during the fiery session when the Missouri Republican launched his attack on the former Special Counsel. Schmitt had obtained text messages he claimed showed Smith was “in Atlanta” attending a “Hawks game” in February 2024, suggesting coordination with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on the Trump case.
